Do you handle the racecourse car park pass?
We use whatever pass you already hold. Send us a photograph of it, or the wording from your confirmation, and your chauffeur will use the correct gate and car park on the day. Passes are issued by the course to the badge holder rather than by us, so if you do not have one we will plan a public set-down point and a sensible walk-in route instead.
Can the car stay at the course all day?
That depends on the pass and on the course. Some passes allow a car to park and remain for the whole afternoon, which means you can return to it for a coat or a change of shoes. Others are set-down only, and the chauffeur waits in a holding area nearby. We check the arrangement for your fixture when the day is planned and tell you which applies.
How early should we leave for Royal Ascot?
Earlier than the race times alone would suggest. Hospitality usually serves well before the first race, the approach roads build steadily through the morning, and the walk from the car park to the enclosure takes longer than most people expect. We work backwards from your earliest fixed commitment and add a margin for traffic. The exact departure time is confirmed once we know your enclosure and hospitality booking.
What if we want to leave before the last race?
Simply message your chauffeur. The car is held for the day, so leaving early costs you nothing more than that message, and it often means a much easier drive out while the roads are still moving freely. If you decide instead to stay to the end, your chauffeur will watch the car parks and suggest whether to go straight away or wait for the first wave to clear.
Can you take a group of eight to Cheltenham?
Usually yes, although two vehicles are often more comfortable than one when everybody is in winter coats and formal dress. Each car will need its own park pass. Tell us the number of guests, the pickup addresses and whether the party wants to travel together, and we will suggest a sensible arrangement. Availability for more than one vehicle is confirmed when we review the itinerary.
Do you cover meetings outside London?
Yes. We work across the United Kingdom, so Cheltenham, York, Doncaster, Aintree, Newmarket and the smaller country fixtures are arranged in exactly the same way as Ascot or Epsom. Longer journeys sometimes work better with an overnight stay near the course, and we can research hotels for your approval if you have not booked one. Everything is confirmed with you before it is arranged.
