Frequently asked questions
Which of London's airports do you serve?
Every one of the five: London Heathrow, London Gatwick, London City, London Stansted and London Luton. We also cover the private aviation terminals at Farnborough, Biggin Hill, RAF Northolt and London Oxford. Send us the airport, the terminal and your flight number, and we'll plan the collection around the moment you land rather than the hour you were due in.
Does the price already cover ULEZ and the congestion charge?
Yes, both are in. We quote the ULEZ daily charge and the London congestion charge as part of the figure itself rather than adding them on later, which means the price you agreed holds even if the route passes in and out of the charging zone. Your written quotation lists the final price, what's included in it and any applicable tax.
At the airport, where does my chauffeur find me?
Because the answer varies from airport to airport, we agree the meeting point with you before you set off. At Heathrow and Gatwick that tends to mean the arrivals hall and a name board. London City is another matter: the walk from the gate is short, and kerbside is often the quicker option there. Say which you'd prefer, and we'll put the exact spot in writing before the day comes.
What happens with waiting and parking in central London?
There's very little legal kerb space anywhere in central London. While you're inside, your chauffeur will usually keep circling or hold in a bay nearby instead of parking outside the door. We give you the chauffeur's number, and once you're ready to go the car comes back to whichever entrance you name. Waiting time forms part of the quote we agree with you.
Is getting across town still possible during a big event?
In most cases, yes, as long as we know it's happening. Marathon Sunday, a state occasion, a Wembley fixture or a Notting Hill Carnival weekend will all close roads that route planners don't realise are shut. So we work the departure time back from your appointment and choose approaches that steer clear of the closures, rather than finding them halfway there.
Beyond central London, do you cover the outer boroughs too?
Yes. We arrange pickups and drop-offs all over Greater London: Richmond, Twickenham and Kingston in the south west, Barnet and Enfield up north, Bromley and Croydon to the south, and Greenwich, Stratford and Romford out east. Go beyond the M25 and the quote works the same way, as one fixed, all-inclusive figure.
