Private Aviation Transfers

Business aviation runs on handlers, tail numbers and schedules that move. Ground transport has to work the same way. We coordinate with your handler or flight department, and any apron or airside access is subject to the operator's approval, never assumed.

Plan your chauffeur journey

London Chauffeurs provides itinerary-led private travel for airport transfers, executive travel, private aviation, events and long-distance UK journeys. Availability and pricing are confirmed for the requested itinerary.

Frequently asked questions

Can the car meet the aircraft on the apron?

Sometimes, and never as an assumption. Apron and airside access is controlled by the airport and the handling agent, depends on the vehicle and the driver's permissions, and can be refused for reasons unrelated to the passenger. We ask on your behalf and tell you the answer honestly. Where it is not approved, the collection happens at the FBO or terminal door, which is usually a short walk in any case.

Which airfields do you cover for private flights?

Farnborough, Biggin Hill, RAF Northolt and London Oxford come up most often, along with the business aviation facilities at Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and Luton, and Battersea heliport for rotary movements. Other UK fields are arranged on the same basis. Name the airfield and the FBO when you enquire, since the entrance and the road approach differ from the main passenger terminals.

How do you track a private flight without a flight number?

By working with the people who know. The aircraft registration, the operator and the handling agent give a far more accurate picture than any public source, so we ask for those and for a flight department or crew contact. The handler can confirm a revised arrival or departure faster than anything published, and that information reaches your chauffeur directly rather than through the passenger.

What happens if the departure moves forward at short notice?

Send us the change on WhatsApp and the plan is rebuilt around it. Schedules moving is normal in business aviation, so the arrangement is written with that in mind rather than assuming a fixed time. We will tell you immediately what the new timing means for the vehicle and the cost, and if something cannot be accommodated on the day we will say so rather than leave you to find out.

Can you arrange transport for the crew as well?

Yes, and it is worth planning at the same time as the passengers. Crew legs to and from hotels often fall at unsociable hours and are arranged individually rather than assumed available. They are quoted within the same itinerary with their own timings and contacts, and the vehicle is chosen for luggage space and comfort rather than presentation.

How discreet is the ground arrangement?

Discretion is treated as part of the work. Chauffeurs do not discuss who they are collecting, do not volunteer destinations and do not photograph passengers or vehicles. Where the airport allows it, cars stage away from the FBO frontage rather than lining up outside. If a movement is particularly sensitive, tell us at the enquiry stage so the plan is built around that from the beginning.
