Can a personal chauffeur cover the same journeys every week?
You can, and it's the way most households use us. Give us the pattern a single time, with days, times and addresses, and we repeat that weekly shape each time you give the go-ahead. Half term, a club that's been cancelled and other exceptions just need a message. We confirm availability week by week as the dates come closer, rather than promising it a long way ahead.
Is it always the same chauffeur who comes?
Yes, whenever the schedule lets us, and the odds improve a good deal once your week follows a settled pattern. Chauffeurs' leave and the odd clash between diaries mean we can't promise it on each date. On days when a different chauffeur comes, the household notes go along too, so the gate code, where to wait and how you like things are known before arrival.
If I'm not there, can a chauffeur pick my children up from school?
It can, as long as it's arranged beforehand. Tell us each child's name, the school and the pick-up point, confirm who has authority to hand them over, and say what should happen if a child isn't there. You'll get a message as they're collected and another once they're home. Give us ages and weights, and child seats get requested along with the booking.
When I'm at an appointment, does the chauffeur stay and wait?
Of course. On private jobs we expect to wait, so it isn't an add-on you have to haggle over at the kerb. The car stays in a legal spot somewhere close and comes round to the door once you send word. For days with lots of waiting in them, the simpler route is often to hire it as directed for a set number of hours, and we'll recommend that if it's the better fit.
Is my dog allowed to come along?
Yes, provided it's been agreed in advance rather than sprung on us on the day. Let us know how large it is and whether it rides in a crate, wears a harness or goes on a boot liner, and we'll put in for a suitable vehicle alongside the booking, subject to availability. On longer trips we build in a break for pets when the distance calls for it.
What's the process for arranging a personal chauffeur, and how much will it cost?
Send us a WhatsApp laying out the week you have in mind, covering days, times, addresses and anything out of the ordinary that's coming along. It gets read by a person, who answers with what's free and the price in straightforward language, before you're tied to anything. Nobody asks you to set up an account or fill in paperwork. One week is a fine place to start.
