It is a request rather than a standing arrangement, so it is confirmed once a person has reviewed the itinerary. If it can be arranged you will be told clearly, and if it cannot, you will hear that early enough to make other plans.

No. Guests ask for religious, cultural, personal comfort or safety reasons, or for no stated reason at all. The request is noted against your booking and handled without comment or questions. You are welcome to explain if you want to, but it makes no difference to how the request is treated or how quickly it is answered.

No, and we would rather say so plainly. Availability depends on the date, the hour and where the journey runs, and it is thinner at short notice, in peak periods and outside the major cities. We keep no standing roster. Every request is checked against the actual day you have asked about, and you get a straight answer instead of a hopeful one.

You hear as soon as we know. We will say which parts of the itinerary are affected, whether a small change of time would make it workable, and what we can offer instead. You are under no obligation to accept an alternative, and you can cancel on the terms confirmed with your booking. Nothing proceeds until you agree to it.

The service is identical. The same briefing, the same route planning, the same standard of vehicle presentation and the same discretion. We do not suggest that any chauffeur drives more carefully or is better with children because of their sex. The difference is your preference and your comfort, which is a good enough reason on its own to ask.

As early as you can. Days ahead is far better than hours, and a few weeks ahead is better still for weekends, holidays, event periods and journeys outside London. If you travel on a regular pattern, send the whole pattern in one message so the run can be looked at together rather than date by date as each one comes up.
