Corporate Chauffeur

Corporate chauffeur travel is rarely booked by the person sitting in the car. It is arranged by an assistant, an office manager or a travel desk, and it has to work the same way for every passenger, on every date, without being chased.

Plan your chauffeur journey

London Chauffeurs provides itinerary-led private travel for airport transfers, executive travel, private aviation, events and long-distance UK journeys. Availability and pricing are confirmed for the requested itinerary.

Frequently asked questions

Do we need to open an account to book corporate chauffeur travel?

No. There is nothing to sign up for and no volume to commit to before you can make an enquiry. What we do keep, if it helps, is a record of your company's standing requirements so that later requests can be short. Availability and cost are still confirmed for each individual booking once the detail has been reviewed by a person.

Can one person book travel for several colleagues at once?

Yes, and it is the easier way to do it. Send the whole set of movements in one message, naming each passenger against each journey, and you will receive one confirmation covering all of them. Amendments stay on the same thread, which keeps a clean record for your own files. Adding your internal reference makes reconciling the programme afterwards straightforward.

How do you handle a delayed flight for an arriving client?

Arrivals are tracked by flight number, so a delay is seen rather than reported. The collection is adjusted and the booker is told what has changed, without anyone in your office needing to watch a screen. Meeting arrangements at each airport differ and are confirmed with you in advance, including whether the chauffeur waits with a name board or calls the passenger.

Can we get confirmation that a member of staff arrived home safely?

Yes. Where you ask for it, the booker is messaged when the passenger is collected and again when they are delivered, which many companies use to satisfy their own duty-of-care process for late finishes. Chauffeur and vehicle details can also be sent to the passenger beforehand so they know exactly who to expect on an empty street.

Is it cheaper to book a car as directed than separate transfers?

It often is when a passenger has several appointments in one day, because the car stays with them instead of being booked and released repeatedly. Whether it works out better for a particular schedule depends on the number of movements and the gaps between them. Send the day as you have it and both structures will be set out before you choose.

What happens if a passenger does not turn up?

Tell us in advance how long a chauffeur should wait and who to contact when someone does not appear, and it becomes a standing instruction rather than a decision made on the pavement. In practice the chauffeur will call the passenger, then the booker. Any cost implication is set out in the terms confirmed when the booking was made.
